Unique to Konia is the modular and scalable split system technology. The Konia system is specifically designed to separate the atmospheric water generator from the filtration. This allows more flexibility for the generator to be located away from the dispenser. More importantly, it allows for the generator to be strategically positioned for the best water generation results.

Clean + Filtered

Konia manufactures three modular and scalable water generators (sometimes referred to as atmospheric water generator or AWG) – DT5000, SU5000, UC1000 . A compressor circulates refrigerant through a condenser coil which cools the air surrounding it, lowering the air’s dew point and causing water to condense. A controlled-speed fan pushes electrostatic and carbon filtered air over the coil. The resulting water is then passed into a holding tank with a 7 stage purification filtration system to keep the water fresh.

Volume

Depending on the model, they can make between 20 – 100 litres of great-tasting water a day*. With a controlled indoor air relative humidity the Konia system will work even in northern climates efficiently. The Konia system has the unique capability of being used as an in-line water filtration system as well. Connected to any domestic water line cleaning and filtering contaminates from the water giving you year-round fresh tasting water.

Konia Water is one of the original pioneers of air-to-water technology. Our new models now boast more of the additional features consumers have requested:

Greater water production rates – Air water generators can be ideally placed in a remote location allowing for maximum water production.
Cleaner, more pure water – is made when the generator sits remote. The fresh morning dew and clean morning air will give you the best water you have ever tasted.
Noise reduction – with the water generator located in a remote location such as a furnace room, garage etc.
Low humidity option – with Konia the AWG unit can be switched for those short periods of time in Northern Climates to a water filtration unit to continue giving you the highest quality water until the humidity levels return.
No added water – unlike reverse osmosis systems which can wastes between 8 to 10 gallons to make 1 gallon of drinking water an AWG unit does not use any additional water.
Flexible locations – The water cooler/dispenser is free to be moved anywhere in the house with the generator located in a more suitable remote location.

Water Filtration Technology

Enhancing health can best be supported by installing a Konia water filtration system, which provides healthy drinking water of the highest quality. Konia’s point of use WATER from AIR and water mains connected filter systems provide a multistage water purification system capable of filtering out most chemicals and bacteria down to one hundredth of one millionth of one meter (0.01 micron). This fine filtration system coupled with Konia’s patented Bio-Control assures a constant and safe supply of pure, fresh filtered water (hot and cold) on demand. Most other filtration systems consist of a basic one or two filter system only.

Installation

The unique split system technology provides unprecedented ability to connect an atmospheric water generator up to 100m horizontally (or 35m vertically) away from the point of use, the water dispenser. One of the advantages of this advanced water generation system. There are also many industrial and other applications available by using this split system technology. For instance, multiple generators can be connected together in a bank of generators to produce larger amounts of water. There is also the added benefit of having a built-in redundancy should one unit need to be taken off-line for servicing allowing the other units to continue to convert air to water.

Alternatively, the air-water generators could be plumbed directly into a larger capacity water holding tank to be used on demand for agricultural and other industrial applications. Countless Konia clients have managed to get more use out of the Konia system than ever before. Some customers now use the generator to fill their water tanks outside the house.
